Account & sign-in

Your workspace lives at your firm’s own branded host — you sign in at <yourhost>/login (for the demo firm that’s demo.folaform.com/login), not at a generic vendor address. Most sign-in trouble is one of a few things: the wrong host, blocked cookies, an expired link, or a session that timed out.

What you saw: the address you typed doesn’t open a login screen, or opens someone else’s brand.

What it means: you’re at the wrong host. Every firm has its own, and yours is whatever your firm was set up with.

What to do:

  1. Use <yourhost>/login — your firm’s exact host, not a guess.
  2. If you don’t know it, check the invitation email you received; the sign-in link is in it.
  3. Bookmark the page once you land on it so you don’t have to remember.

”I enter my password and nothing happens”

Section titled “”I enter my password and nothing happens””

What you saw: you typed your password, clicked sign in, and got no error and no redirect.

What it means: your browser is blocking the cookies the sign-in flow needs.

What to do: allow cookies for your firm’s host in your browser’s privacy settings, then sign in again:

  • Chrome / Edge — Settings → Privacy → Cookies → allow cookies for your host.
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → uncheck “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” for the session.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy → Custom → uncheck “Cookies”.
Section titled “”Email not verified, but I clicked the link””

What you saw: the workspace says your email isn’t verified even though you clicked the verification link.

What it means: verification links expire, or you opened the link in a different browser than the one you were signing in on.

What to do:

  1. Request a fresh verification email from the sign-in screen.
  2. Open the new link in the same browser you’re signing in with.

What you saw: you asked for a password reset but no email came.

What it means: it’s in a spam folder, the address has a typo, or your firm’s email domain reputation is flagging automated mail.

What to do:

  1. Check Spam, Promotions, and All Mail.
  2. Confirm the email address is right at the sign-in screen.
  3. Request the reset again from <yourhost>/login → Forgot password.

”I’m signed in, but every action says I’m not”

Section titled “”I’m signed in, but every action says I’m not””

What you saw: the workspace loaded, but clicking anything returns a session-expired or “not authenticated” error.

What it means: your session expired — the page shell was served from cache, but each real action fails.

What to do: sign out completely, then sign back in at <yourhost>/login. That’s usually the whole fix.

”Session expired mid-form — did I lose my work?”

Section titled “”Session expired mid-form — did I lose my work?””

What you saw: you were filling a form, saved, and got an auth error.

What it means: the session lapsed while you were working.

What to do: your work is safe. Drafts save automatically. Sign back in, return to the same form on the same client, and your draft is there.

What you saw: the email code or second-factor prompt at sign-in isn’t coming through.

What it means: for email codes, a mail delay or the code went to spam; on a device passkey / Face ID, the device isn’t enrolled on this browser.

What to do:

  • Email code — check Spam, then request a new code. Confirm the email on file is the one you’re watching.
  • Device sign-in (Face ID / passkey) — if the device prompt doesn’t appear, fall back to the email code on the same screen, then re-enroll the device from your security settings once you’re in.
  • Wrong host, cookies, verification, password reset, session timeout — handle it yourself with the steps above.
  • Locked out with no second factor and no way back in — open a ticket from Help & support; your firm’s admin may also be able to help from the members list.
  • You think your account is compromised — open a Help & support ticket right away.
